Been waiting on this one for awhile. Sniper Elite does not suck they are to totally different time periods. Ghost Warrior is obviously the sniper game people are gonna lean towards because its first person and modern weaponry. Sniper Elite is brilliant in its own way also. Anyway first game I have seen in awhile selling game and season pass for 1 price of $60. Well worth a look for people coming into SGW for the first time or veterans of the franchise like myself. Wait to go CI Games the music you picked for the trailers was enough to sell me.

Its goin down like I told ya! First off, this game wouldn't be bad if CI games used their time wisely. The game runs off of the CryEngine (the same engine Crysis ran off) which is a beauty based engine and not performance based. The story, (from what I've played so far) is extremely mediocre and the characters are not very memorable (shocking). The mechanics are quite interesting and help with the overall 'gist' of the game. The game does have some glitches.
I have personally fallen through the map and have been stuck interrogating someone who died as soon as I grabbed him, but his body is on the ground and I am still doing the animation where I interrogate him. The season pass is also 'bugged' apparently. If the game goes on sale, you can waste your money on it. I cannot play it in this broken, glitchy state. All and all, the game has some nice mechanics that cannot really shine due to the technical issues.
